absolutely knackered
Tomorrow is another day at the convention center.
Today I got to swing by ComicCon since it’s right next door. I bought some manga from the TokyoPop booth, so that was cool. There were lots of scantily clad gals posing with brooding boys in trench coats. All in all, quite interesting. Since I have a pass for the weekend, I might stop by again tomorrow if I’m not utterly exhausted beyond reason once I finish with my convention work-day.
To add some fun, tomorrow afternoon marks the beginning of a winter storm warning, so I may be driving home alongside hundreds of morons who freak out when it starts snowing.
I got some Chinese food on my way home (@ 3:00) and my fortune cookie said, “Your life is a kaleidoscope.”
Jotting it down so I don’t forget it. I can think about what that statement is trying to say/imply later. Sometimes, I think fortune cookie manufacturers just have a phrase generator and assume that any combination of “Your life is _______” or “_______ is around you” words and phrases yield a perfectly OK “fortune”, despite not making any sense.
Perhaps they think everyone will assume they’re Zen koans or statements with a much deeper meaning… or something.
I think I’m just too tired to make sense. And my back hurts. And my feet hurt. And I’m tired of smiling.
Andamonnagosleepnow. Zzzzzzz.
