Eddie Izzard = brilliant.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him perform live, and “Dress to Kill” is still one comedy routine from which I can quote massive portions (probably because I still watch it often, have forced my friends to watch it, and we can have lengthy dialogue using nothing but lines from that particular show.) I’ve been known to use his clipped sing-songy version of the phrase, “Like you do…” in meetings without even realizing it. Because it doesn’t sound too sarcastic and it flows into conversation with frightening ease. E.g.:
“You just need to make X, Y, Z changes to it - like you do - and we’ll be good to go.”
